This offering is for a new-old-stock (NOS) Shimano 600EX crankarm set (Model FC-6207) for a double chainring set. The crankarms are made from a forged aluminum alloy, so they should be fairly strong/durable and hold up well under most conditions. The date code stamped on the backside of the crankarms indicates a mid 80's model, so during the period Shimano was rolling out their index (or as Shimano used to call it, "SIS") shifting drivetrain. I can also confirm the Shimano 600 drivetrain from this period would have been marketed primarily as a 6-speed groupset although this crankarm set should perform fine with other drivetrains... Noted below are adhered to.

I don't know that I would recommend anything newer than an 8-speed drivetrain, as the spacing between sprockets/chainrings becomes quite narrow relative to the spacing of chainrings mounted on the older right crankarms that are part of these sets. This crankarm set measures 170 mm in length and the right crankarm has a bolt-circle diameter ("BCD") of 130 mm. Other specifications indicate the crankarm set is designed to accept a JIS spec'd square-tapered bottom bracket. Additionally, if matched with an English threaded frame, then this crankarm set requires a bottom bracket with a 68 mm shell width and a 116 mm spindle length. Although, if matched with the less common Italian threaded frame, then a 70 mm shell width and a 119 mm spindle length will be needed to ensure optimal chainline for functional shifting.

The finish is a polished silver and it shows well. There is going to be some light shopwear from the 30+ years of storage time, but the overall cosmetic condition is still going to be nice. I can also confirm each crankarm set is going to come with a factory matched set of chainring bolts, crank bolts and chromed (metal) crank bolt dust covers.
