Per our digital postal scale and has a bolt-circle diameter ("BCD") of 130 mm. Other specifications indicate the crankarm is designed to accept a JIS spec'd square-tapered bottom bracket. Additionally, if matched with an English threaded frame, then this crankarm requires a bottom bracket with a 68 mm shell and a 107 mm spindle.
Although, if matched with the less common Italian threaded frame, then a bottom bracket with a 70 mm shell and a 107 mm spindle will be needed to ensure optimal chainline for functional index shifting. As for condition, this is a new crankarm set that shows well, but it does have one minor (but visible) finishing imperfections coming out of the factory. If you look closely at the left crankarm, you will see a very small bare metal blemish to the right of the Shimano 105 labeling. My best guess is the gray enamel finish bubbled up in this one small area, and then flaked off after 30+ years of storage time. For what it is worth, I don't see any other such finishing blemishes.
I also want to confirm this crankarm set was originally a retail boxed crankset, but years ago I needed the chainrings for another project. So this crankarm set is all that is left in the box (and I can confirm this is the correct retail box). The protective blue plastic wrap is further evidence this is a factory new crankarm set, as I have noted this tape on all the factory new Shimano 105 (FC-1056) cranksets I have come across. I will also include the Shimano factory matched crankbolts, just as pictured.
